Area Supply Chain Project Manager (ASCPM) is responsible for assisting in managing strategic supply chain projects across assigned spend categories to optimize supplier performance, cost competitiveness, and compliance while supporting enterprise-wide initiatives. This hands-on role involves planning, executing, and day-to-day management of projects, collaborating with Strategic Sourcing Managers, Area Supply Chain Managers, and cross-functional teams, and acting as the primary backup to the Area Supply Chain Manager. Responsibilities include leading project plans and milestones, facilitating RFPs, managing budgets, driving cost reduction initiatives, conducting supplier performance reviews, and tracking KPIs to inform strategic decisions. The ASCPM supports sourcing strategies, aligns regional initiatives with enterprise objectives, and seeks opportunities to improve contract compliance and overall value. This position does not have direct supervisory duties but may occasionally act as a team lead for project teams or cross-functional initiatives. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field, with at least five years of relevant experience; professional certifications such as PMP or Lean Six Sigma are desirable; advanced proficiency in MS Office. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills are required to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
