Responsibilities include designing scalable GCP networks (VPCs, Interconnects, Load Balancing, DNS), leading IaC for networking with Terraform, resolving connectivity and latency issues across a global microservices stack, implementing and enforcing network security policies (firewalls, VPC Service Controls, IAM), optimizing cloud networking costs, and driving reliability engineering practices (capacity planning, error budgets, monitoring).
