The Community Manager is responsible for supervising day-to-day operations, implementing company policies, and ensuring a well-managed, well-maintained property in compliance with all regulatory agencies and investors.

What you’ll be doing: - Hire, orient, train and develop on-site staff; provide support to foster teamwork. - Manage administrative tasks: performance evaluations, payroll changes, time sheets, and status changes. - Oversee leasing: prepare and sign leases, process applications, run credit and criminal checks, and pursue lease renewals. - Financial management: prepare annual budgets, manage rent collections and invoices, review and code invoices, perform deposits. - Ensure property occupancy and marketing: use marketing strategies to attract residents; supervise leasing staff and ensure compliance with employment and leasing standards. - Maintenance and safety: supervise maintenance requests, oversee vendor contracts, ensure 24/7 on-call readiness, coordinate emergency procedures, and maintain property safety and risk management. - Compliance and inspections: ensure fair housing compliance, prepare for code and mortgage inspections, maintain resident files, and enforce community policies. - Reporting: review weekly reports for accuracy and completeness; monitor parking lots and common areas.
