Responsibilities include team leadership, strategic alignment with Quality Leadership, escalation and resolution of issues, and cross-functional collaboration with Quality Control, Supplier Quality, Metrology, and Quality Assurance. The Manager will lead MRB activities, support New Process Introductions (NPI), establish operational plans, and ensure proper documentation and records are reviewed and approved. The role also focuses on building a culture of quality and developing Quality personnel through recruitment, supervision, training, and coaching. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree with 8+ years (Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years) in engineering or related field; or in lieu of a degree, at least 11 years of experience in quality engineering or a related technical field. A minimum of 3 years of direct people management experience is required. Desired qualifications include familiarity with FAA regulations, AS9100/9110/9145, ISO 9001; ASQ CQE and CMQ/OE certifications; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt preferred); and proficiency with core quality tools (e.g., 8D, fishbone, Control Plans).
