About the role

Technical Account Manager in the Cyber Services and Capabilities team. The TAM is the customer's technical owner for the service and the expert voice in the relationship. You will quantify the customer's security maturity using the TAM Score framework, develop and steer a defensible 12-month technical roadmap, and provide the depth of Microsoft Azure Sentinel/Defender XDR expertise needed to advise credibly on priorities. You will translate data into narrative, surface the highest-leverage gaps, and guide customers toward measurable improvement quarter by quarter. You will act as a technical buffer between customers and internal operational teams by resolving technical queries, advising on improvements, and ensuring issues are properly packaged when escalation is required.

About the role

You will act as a technical buffer between customers and internal operational teams by resolving technical queries, advising on improvements, and ensuring issues are properly packaged when escalation is required.

Key responsibilities: Own the technical relationship; interpret TAM Score narrative; build and maintain the 12-month technical roadmap anchored to the TAM Score with quarterly focus areas; deliver the TAM/technical portion of Quarterly Business Reviews; provide reactive technical support via tickets; deliver proactive technical expertise and drive continuous improvement (including tuning, automation, cost/retention optimization); own technical deliverables such as automation/playbooks and dashboards; drive the operational health-check catalogue as scheduled roadmap workstreams; advise on defensive breadth gaps (pentest cadence, IR retainer, EASM, DLP, etc); maintain and refresh the threat overview as the customer's environment evolves.

Key requirements: 3–7+ years in cybersecurity, IT operations, or man
