About the role

FIRST, a leading global brand experience agency, is seeking a Team Lead, Event Production to join an embedded team on a technology account in Munich, Germany. This on-site role requires extensive technical production experience and the ability to lead a team of specialists, technicians, and freelancers to deliver high-profile events.

Responsibilities

Lead all on-site service delivery, develop processes, drive innovations, and maintain strong client relationships.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to flawlessly execute technically complex events.
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of specialists, technicians, and freelancers, overseeing workload, onboarding, training, and vacation schedules.
Oversee team administration, including staffing the event calendar, onboarding, training, and travel & expenses reporting.
Provide technical and operational support to event spaces, including hands-on delivery when necessary.
Collaborate with clients to establish A/V and staging layouts, manage production budgets, and advise on optimal venue setups.
Generate detailed reports on space utilization, studio health, finances, staffing, and client satisfaction.
Liaise with FIRST internal departments, clients, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless execution and communication.
Partner with People & Culture on recruitment and employee relations.
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and compliance; rectify technical issues as needed.
Encourage the team to identify new technical solutions and best-practice approaches that add value for clients
