About the role

Strategic Account Manager – South Central is a field-based sales role responsible for delivering Foundation Medicine’s products and services to regional health systems, academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, and complex physician networks while building and expanding strategic relationships. About the role

Strategic Account Manager – South Central is a field-based sales role responsible for delivering Foundation Medicine’s products and services to regional health systems, academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, and complex physician networks while building and expanding strategic relationships. The role focuses on driving sales within FMI’s portfolio and cultivating relationships with oncologists and other members of the cancer care community in targeted accounts.

This is a Remote OK position.

Responsibilities

Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for FMI’s product portfolio.
Manage and grow relationships with defined strategic accounts; maintain trust-based partnerships that position FMI as the partner of choice.
Identify account commercial strategies based on robust assessments of the account, regional market, clinical, financial, and reimbursement considerations.
Create and execute strategic account business plans to deliver comprehensive solutions and drive engagement and systemic adoption of FMI products, aligning with national strategies as appropriate (AMC, pathology, community).
Adapt plans to evolving landscape.
Identify and execute contracting opportunities within defined accounts.
Collaborate with Account Executives and Customer Experience Executive teams to ensure optimal pull-through of the strategic account plan.
Define customer-level engagement plans within the SAM account, including separate engagement points (SAM only / AE only) and shared points with clinical champions.
