About the role

Senior Metal Bellows is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team in Walpole, Massachusetts (on-site). Senior Metal Bellows is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team in Walpole, Massachusetts (on-site). This role is ideal for an accounting professional with 2–3 years of experience who wants to expand their skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will participate in all aspects of accounting and finance, from month-end close and financial reporting to cost analysis, budgeting, and capital projects. You will work closely with operations, engineering, and leadership to provide financial insights that support informed business decisions.

Key responsibilities include: supporting monthly and year-end closes from posting journals to generating financial statements; providing financial analysis of sales, margins, expenditures, and other key metrics; preparing, analyzing, and reporting on New Product Introductions; performing monthly general ledger reconciliations; managing Capital Expenditure Requests including supporting write-ups and financial analysis; maintaining Fixed Assets (capitalization, depreciation, disposition, and semi-annual inventory); supporting annual budget preparation; assisting the Controller with factory cost estimates for new and existing products, including process standards, historical cost review, vendor quotations, and labor/overhead rate application; supporting internal and external audits; and providing assistance to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll as needed.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; minimum 3 years of accounting experience, prefer
