About the role

IDEMIA Public Security, a division of IDEMIA Group, is seeking a Software Engineer IV to join the Engineering team responsible for the Issuance 360 Back Office product within the Driver License and ID Programs. The role involves developing, troubleshooting, and deploying business solutions using Java, Angular, API endpoints, and Apache Camel routes. Strong knowledge of Java and SQL databases is required for debugging and ongoing development. About the role

IDEMIA Public Security, a division of IDEMIA Group, is seeking a Software Engineer IV to join the Engineering team responsible for the Issuance 360 Back Office product within the Driver License and ID Programs. The role involves developing, troubleshooting, and deploying business solutions using Java, Angular, API endpoints, and Apache Camel routes. Strong knowledge of Java and SQL databases is required for debugging and ongoing development. The ideal candidate will be quick to learn, able to multitask, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.

Essential Job Functions include understanding technical designs, software development lifecycle, challenges, and risks; extensive experience with Agile methods and tools (Jira/Confluence); owning and driving sprint execution; describing problems and working through solutions; using data and metrics to back up decisions; collaborating with team members and subject matter experts; understanding complex data flows; debugging and troubleshooting enterprise applications; creating/updating technical documentation; and working with Delivery teams to shorten development cycles.

Required Skills: OO design principles; Java (or C#); Angular; AWS (IaaS/SaaS); AWS Lambda; XML, XSD, XSLT; JSON; SOAP/REST; PostgreSQL and SQL Server; experience with Jira, GitLab, Artifactory (or equivalents); 509 certificates, JWTs, OAuth and related security measures; Agile development methodologies.

Desired: Wildfly, Apache Camel, JBPM using KIE Workbench.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or significant equivalent exp
