EquipmentShare is seeking a Software Engineer I to design, build, and deliver services powering the T3 Fleet application, enabling end-users to track, monitor, and manage the health of connected vehicles and deployed assets. Our teams are organized into agile, cross-functional groups of Engineering, Product, and Design to rapidly deliver high-value features. You’ll be part of a close-knit team of engineers developing the next generation of our platform, including initiatives like connected camera features for safety and compliance and enhanced geofence capabilities to provide asset insights within boundaries. You will have support as you onboard and learn our stack, teams, product domains, and processes.

Responsibilities include designing, building, and delivering the services and domains that power our application; providing technical leadership within your team and across the organization; shaping the technical direction using modern languages, frameworks, and cloud-native technologies; collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers from concept to delivery while balancing speed and quality; contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, mentoring engineers, and owning outcomes from start to finish. You will apply a hypothesis-driven approach, sourcing and leveraging data to inform decisions and drive platform improvements.
