We are seeking a Software Engineer for a new graduate cohort (Class of 2026) to join our technical team of about 50 engineers, product managers, and designers who are building the AI platform that powers internal care-team tools and patient experiences, as well as services that enable patients to onboard, assess risk, and receive the appropriate screenings.
This on-site role in South San Francisco, California will onboard new graduates to Color’s systems and be thoughtfully mentored by senior engineers and leads as they learn the craft of software engineering. You will gain exposure to engineering design, code review practices, testing, observability, and collaboration with product and engineering peers. Sample projects include embedding AI-driven automation into care workflows to increase care-team capacity while maintaining quality, extending patient experiences along the entire journey, and building infrastructure to support developers and enable new AI tooling.
Ideal Candidate Will Have: Graduated in 2025 or 2026 with a four-year CS degree; passion for using software and technology to help save lives; commitment to high-quality code; experience using AI tools in development workflows; curiosity about applying ML/AI to real-world problems; ability to work within teams with rigorous engineering practices; familiarity with web stacks including Python, Django, AWS, SQL, REST APIs, React, HTML5, CSS3, and ES6+; co
