We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our IT Core Infrastructure Services team and contribute to the VMware Cloud Foundation rollout as part of Brainlab’s multi-cloud strategy. In this role you will design and implement Brainlab’s Private Cloud in accordance with the highest standards of operational quality, IT security, and cost efficiency. A strong Infrastructure as Code mindset will be essential to lay the foundation for our cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and to empower teams with scalable, reliable services. You will guide Brainlab’s observability journey by applying SRE principles using Grafana Cloud, and collaborate closely with IT and other departments. Qualifications: Degree in computer science or equivalent technical education with at least 5 years of experience; deep understanding of IT fundamentals (software-defined networking, high availability architectures, security and zero-trust concepts, data center operations); experience with software development principles and tooling (CI/CD, microservices, version control, SCRUM); experience designing and implementing VMware Cloud Foundation or an equivalent Private Cloud; proficiency with automation technologies (Ansible, Terraform, Python); expertise with Linux/Unix; Windows experience is a plus; experience managing container environments (Kubernetes/OpenShift); familiarity with Grafana and OpenTelemetry is a plus; knowledge of AI/ML concepts is a plus; strong foc
