About the role

Origami Risk is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to improve time to resolution and overall site reliability and scalability. The role participates in identifying root causes during post-incident investigations and implements preventative measures to minimize future disruptions. It also helps identify root causes in performance challenges across client implementations and develops methods for tracking key performance metrics across clients.

About the role

Origami Risk is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to improve time to resolution and overall site reliability and scalability. The role participates in identifying root causes during post-incident investigations and implements preventative measures to minimize future disruptions. It also helps identify root causes in performance challenges across client implementations and develops methods for tracking key performance metrics across clients.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Lead post-incident investigations for the Site Reliability team and conduct in-depth post-incident analyses to identify root causes and develop preventive strategies.
Draft clear RCAs for customer delivery and cross-train colleagues on how to leverage observability tools during incident and performance investigations.
Provide visibility to all stakeholders throughout the Site Reliability process and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements that improve scalability and stability.
Develop client-focused dashboards/alerts to proactively identify performance challenges and monitor time-to-resolution metrics.
Maintain and configure core observability tools to ensure optimum performance and data availability for incident response and performance investigations.
Contribute to automation tooling to streamline incident response and work with Cloud Operations, SRE, and Engineering teams to advance our SaaS platforms.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of proven SRE experience
