This remote role, based in Denver or on the US East Coast, involves shipping production code in Java/Kotlin and C++ that runs at massive cloud scale for live and VOD workloads, and owning US enterprise accounts during EU off-hours. You will triage encoding issues, drive incidents to resolution, and travel to customer sites to support integrations and workshops. This is a greenfield Forward Deployed Engineer role where you will define the playbook for customer engagements and feed field learnings back into sprint planning and the product roadmap. Requirements include 5+ years of software engineering, 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role, cloud experience (AWS/GCP), Docker, and strong debugging of live distributed systems.
