The ideal candidate will have experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, DevOps, SAFe) in large organizations and will effectively manage diverse teams and cross-functional stakeholders. This on-site role is based in Fairfax, Virginia. Responsibilities include overseeing design, implementation, QA, operations, sustainment, and validation of programming code and products; creating project outlines and timelines; organizing and facilitating daily stand-ups and other meetings; guiding the team in Agile practices; eliminating impediments; ensuring milestones and deadlines are met; building relationships with stakeholders and users; documenting progress and communicating with management; coordinating meeting invites, agendas, and minutes; maintaining document repositories (SharePoint, ADO, GitHub). Qualifications include 8-12 years of IT project management or equivalent experience; thorough knowledge of the full SDLC; experience with Product Owners; risk management; managing dispersed personnel; delivering systems/tools in production; strong communication skills; analytical abilities; ability to work independently.
