About the role
Senior QA Engineer (Mobile) is sought by Cupid Media for a France-based partner company. This fully remote role focuses on owning the QA lifecycle for mobile applications across iOS and Android, from feature validation and test planning to production releases, in a remote, international environment.
Responsibilities
Requirement
- Lead quality assurance across mobile product development to ensure reliable releases and continuous improvement of testing practices.
- Own the validation process from technical hand-off to production deployment; review product specifications, define test strategies, and create detailed test plans, cases, and checklists.
- Estimate testing efforts and deliver high-quality validation within agreed timelines.
- Perform functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, and end-to-end API testing on real devices and emulators.
- Develop, maintain, and expand mobile test automation frameworks for UI and API testing; integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise) to support continuous quality checks.
- Automate critical user journeys and manage test data preparation and cleanup; document tests and participate in code reviews; maintain high engineering standards.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Mobile Engineers, Backend Engineers, and Architects throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support mobile application releases by validating builds, testing deep links, performing pre-release checks, and monitoring production performance.
- Track QA metrics such as test coverage, defect rates, and automation effectiveness.
