About the role

Cupid Media is looking for a Senior QA Engineer (Mobile) to drive quality across our mobile applications. This is a remote, Finland-based role that owns the QA lifecycle from feature validation and test planning to production releases, blending hands-on testing with automation and close collaboration with Product, Mobile, Backend, and Architect teams. You will help improve product stability, user experience, and release confidence across iOS and Android platforms.

Responsibilities

Define test strategies, create detailed test plans, cases, and checklists; estimate testing efforts and deliver high-quality validation within timelines.
Perform functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, and end-to-end API testing on real devices and emulators.
Develop, maintain, and expand mobile test automation frameworks for UI and API testing; integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Automate critical user journeys and manage test data preparation and cleanup.
Document tests, participate in code reviews, and uphold high engineering standards.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Mobile Engineers, Backend Engineers, and Architects throughout the development lifecycle.
Support mobile app releases by validating builds, testing deep links, performing pre-release checks, and monitoring production performance.
Track QA metrics such as test coverage, defect rates, and automation effectiveness; drive continuous improvement.
