About the role

Sedona Digital is a fast-growing scale-up providing technology solutions to global enterprises in Technology, Finance, and Life Sciences. We are seeking a Senior Platform DevOps Engineer to join a highly collaborative team that pushes cloud services to the maximum using cutting-edge technologies. This is a remote Serbia-based role requiring a self-motivated professional who embraces DevOps culture, has strong experience with AWS, and is passionate about learning, automation, and customer-focused engineering.

Responsibilities

Initiate and drive the adoption of best practices for development and operations.
Identify opportunities for automation and implement them.
Monitor and optimize the existing CI/CD processes to increase speed, safety, and reliability.
Coordinate implementations with relevant stakeholders.
Develop and maintain GitLab CI pipeline libraries.
Assist developers with setting up CI/CD for their projects and provide support for issues.
Stay up to date with the latest tools and trends; provide senior-level recommendations for Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes hosting environments.
Mentor junior team members and support their continued learning.
Educate Application Development Teams about the platforms used and hosted by our team; key tools include GitLab, Docker, AWS, Terraform, Istio, Kubernetes, Kafka, ELK.
Work with Security to remediate high-risk vulnerabilities and ensure appropriate security for use cases.
Provide services across the Group as instructed by the Line Manager.
