About the role

Assured is modernizing insurance claims processing with AI-driven IT operations. We are seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to drive IT operations for a fully remote team. This role reports to the IT Manager and owns day-to-day user support and systems for a distributed workforce, leads onboarding and offboarding, and collaborates with IT and Security to maintain a reliable, compliant, and user-friendly environment. You will bring depth in identity, endpoint, and SaaS administration, and contribute to building an AI-forward IT function that reduces toil through automation.

Responsibilities

Provide senior escalation support for a fully remote, distributed workforce using Slack, Zoom, and remote screen-sharing tools; troubleshoot macOS, Windows, Linux, and mobile.
Own end-to-end user lifecycle: provisioning, group membership, device shipping and enrollment, and offboarding; continuously refine processes with People Ops and Security.
Administer our identity stack (Rippling as IDP/MDM) including SCIM, groups, workflows, SSO/MFA configurations; Okta experience is a plus.
Manage Mac-first fleet via Rippling MDM; maintain asset inventory in Snipe-IT.
Operate AI-forward IT stack: extend automation via Console.com (ARIA); automate access provisioning/deprovisioning; experience with Risotto, Unthread, or similar AI ITSM platforms is a plus; comfortable using AI tools in daily IT operations.
Support security and compliance programs: enforce access controls and endpoint hardening for SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, ISO 27001; assist with access reviews and audits.
