This is an in-person position in Washington, DC (5 days per week) with a salary of $120,000–$140,000 per year, based on experience. A U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance due to federal contract requirements. Responsibilities include designing and managing GCP-based infrastructure, implementing IaC with Terraform/Deployment Manager/Ansible, supporting CI/CD pipelines, monitoring performance, ensuring FedRAMP/NIST compliance, and documenting processes. Required qualifications: 4+ years in cloud engineering, with at least 2 years on GCP; hands-on experience with Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, VPC, IAM, GKE, and BigQuery; experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Deployment Manager); CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Cloud Build); Linux, networking, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes); Agile/Scrum.
