Delivery Hero is seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Kotlin/Java/React) to join the Fintech team in Berlin. You will design, build, and operate highly scalable software systems that power Wallet, Payments, and Anti-Fraud capabilities for Delivery Hero’s global platform. You will contribute to the internal Payments engine used across more than 70 countries, enabling seamless payments for customers and merchants. You will lead backend and frontend engineering efforts with a focus on distributed systems, leveraging Java, Kotlin, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JUnit, along with TypeScript and React (TanStack) and PostgreSQL. You will own services end-to-end, participate in infrastructure automation and continuous deployment, and apply secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle. You will influence engineering culture through hands-on leadership, mentorship, and continuous improvement, and drive architectural quality with SOLID, Domain-Driven Design, and design patterns.
