About the role

Intramotev is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the CI/CD pipeline architecture and infrastructure strategy powering the development of our self-propelled battery-electric railcars and vehicles. This is a senior, individual-contributor role based in St. Louis, MO, with occasional domestic travel for testing, integration, demonstrations, and customer interactions.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Pipeline Ownership & Architecture: Own GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, focusing on reliability, build times, and developer experience; scale the pipeline as the engineering organization grows.
Infrastructure Architecture: Own internal server and cloud infrastructure strategy to drive availability, performance, and scalability.
Standards & Tooling: Set standards for internal engineering tools and promote Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
Test Automation: Design the automated testing framework within the pipeline and expand coverage.
Lifecycle Support: Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues for fielded systems.
Operational Practices: Create runbooks, on-call/escalation processes, and documentation practices.
Leadership & Mentoring: Document systems and mentor less-senior DevOps and engineering staff.
8+ years in DevOps/Software Engineering/Build & Release/Systems Administration, with leadership in CI/CD or infrastructure decisions.
GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms at scale; cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Linux administration and scripting.
Startup or small-team background with end-to-end ownership of CI/CD/infrastructu
