Senior Design Program Manager for Prime Video is seeking a self-motivated, ownership-minded leader to act as a force-multiplier for the UX Design & Research team. Senior Design Program Manager for Prime Video is seeking a self-motivated, ownership-minded leader to act as a force-multiplier for the UX Design & Research team. You will collaborate with designers, researchers, engineers, product managers, and other program managers to plan, design, and deliver experiences that help customers discover, purchase, and watch digital video content across web, mobile, and TV. Key responsibilities include partnering with UX leadership on project decisions, requirements gathering, schedule and roadmap management, resource allocation, and coordinating reviews with stakeholders and leadership. You will program manage design projects, lead design delivery by managing team backlogs, removing obstacles, communicating status, and empowering designers to own their timelines. You will act as a bridge between UX, Engineering, and Product Management (PM) teams and other cross-functional members, ensuring interdependencies are understood and planned. You will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and balance customer needs with business goals and technical constraints. You will implement durable, repeatable processes and tools to prioritize, plan, and manage multiple parallel projects across the team and stakeholders. You will standardize, socialize, and continuously improve our user-centered design process and enable creative solutions by applying strong design judgment and knowledge of business and customer experience best practices.
