Mintos is building a platform that makes passive income investing simple, transparent, and accessible, and we’re expanding rapidly. We’re growing our engineering function and looking for several Senior Java Engineers to join our product teams in Riga, Latvia. Depending on your background, you’ll be placed in one of our engineering teams — for example, working on our payments infrastructure, core investment products (Notes & Loans, ETFs, Crypto ETPs, and upcoming products), or other services that power the Mintos experience for millions of investors.

What you’ll do: - Deliver backend features end-to-end: API design, integrations with internal systems, external providers, and partners. - Design and implement services within a microservices, event-driven architecture with clear domain ownership. - Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code using modern Java and Spring Boot. - Ensure high system reliability and performance, covering edge cases and failure scenarios. - Build and maintain APIs that enable other teams to integrate with your services. - Collaborate daily with engineers, product designers, and product managers to create intuitive, valuable product experiences. - Continuously improve performance, observability, and the overall developer experience.
