About the role

Choice Digital is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee core accounting functions and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Based in Broomfield, Colorado (on-site), you will manage the month-end close, prepare financial statements, ensure compliance with GAAP, and mentor junior accounting staff. The ideal candidate has a strong technical accounting background, sound judgment, and the ability to work cross-functionally to support broader financial decision-making.

Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For:

Financial Reporting and Planning: Prepare accurate financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) and lead month-end and year-end close processes, while supporting budgeting and forecasting; collaborate with stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Compliance, Tax, and Audit: Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax laws; coordinate with external auditors; assist with tax planning and optimizing tax positions; strengthen internal controls.
Cash, Payments, and Transactional Accounting: Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and oversee revenue accounting per ASC 606; assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve financial processes, controls, and procedures; support system implementations and other special projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3-5 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience, preferably within utilities or payments
Thorough knowledge of GAAP and relevant ac
