FirstEnergy is seeking four Reliability Engineers for Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L), a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp., to support the reliability and assessment of New Jersey's electric distribution system. This on-site position is based in Morristown, NJ or Holmdel, NJ with travel up to 40% and may require irregular hours.

Responsibilities include performing power circuit analyses, querying reliability data, and preparing detailed reports. You will work with Regulatory Reporting and Compliance to prepare reports and responses to the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU). You will prepare studies supporting reliability improvement initiatives, assist in budgeting and scheduling for reliability projects, provide technical support for power quality studies, and manage or support reliability programs. You will investigate customer inquiries, analyze data, and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement reliability projects. Training on data quality, outage reporting, and reliability analysis will be provided, and ad hoc reports will be requested as needed. The pay range is estimated at $95,500 - $151,000, with final compensation determined by location, skills and experience.
