Venturi Supply, a national distributor of pipe, valves, fittings, tanks and industrial supplies, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma area. This on-site role reports to the Sales Manager and is responsible for achieving territory sales and profit objectives by generating new business, nurturing existing client relationships, and presenting solutions to customers. Responsibilities include planning and managing the sales territory, negotiating contracts, coordinating with inside sales and management, communicating product information and company policies to clients, and staying informed about industry products and local competition. The role also requires attending relevant trade events and team meetings, providing timely and accurate reports, and ensuring client paperwork is complete and submitted on time. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred), 5+ years of outside sales experience in a related industry, proficiency with MS Office 365, experience with distribution ERP systems (Eclipse preferred), strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment with multiple priorities. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying, reaching, pushing, and occasional exposure to outdoor weather.
