ALTEN Labs’ Innovation Directorate conducts multi-sector research projects in large experimental fields. These projects are developed by cross-functional teams under the guidance of experts within ALTEN Labs (IDF, Toulouse, Grenoble, Rennes and Sophia Antipolis), delivering original and disruptive technological solutions to clients. In our Sèvres Lab, you will be supported by an Innovation Lead (Project Manager) to develop your skills on the following project: Development of a virtual 5G core. Implement mechanisms to manage and guarantee Service Level Agreements (SLA) for different types of services, with KPI monitoring (latency, throughput, reliability) and dynamic resource adaptation. Develop an SLA-aware scheduling approach to adjust radio allocation according to the requirements of critical applications. Study and implement dynamic resource orchestration mechanisms in a Beyond 5G (B5G) framework, integrating flexibility, adaptability and real-time optimization. Explore AI-native network concepts for autonomous network management based on learning and prediction. Evaluate advanced scenarios requiring URLLC and eMBB under SLA constraints, with analysis of performance/reliability trade-offs. Qualifications: You are an engineering student or a Master candidate (telecommunications, networks), ideally in your final year and seeking a final-year internship. You have solid knowledge of mobile networks (4G/5G) and a good understanding of network architectures, particularly in telco cloud environments. You are comfortable with Linux and have scripting skills (Python and/or Bash).
