The role reports to the Sales Director and is responsible for leading the Modern Trade field sales organization, aligning in-store execution with the company’s commercial strategy and translating customer plans into actionable store priorities.
Key responsibilities: - Lead the Modern Trade field sales team across all areas, driving execution discipline and standardized ways of working. - Translate Key Account plans, promotional priorities, category initiatives and customer agreements into clear POS execution priorities. - Ensure implementation of merchandising standards, Picture of Success, assortment priorities, shelf presence, secondary placements and level of service per store. - Coach and develop Area Sales Supervisors to build a high-performance culture focused on execution, accountability, capability building and outlet development. - Coach Business Developers to deliver product availability, visibility, promotional execution, NPD launches and store-level growth opportunities. - Collaborate with NAMs and KAMs, providing structured feedback on market execution, competitor activity, opportunities and gaps. - Build strong relationships with regional customer stakeholders and store managers to enhance execution effectiveness. - Drive the use of Salesforce as a core tool for visit planning, execution monitoring, reporting, route discipline and market insights. - Monitor qualitative and quantitative execution KPIs and propose
