The Scam Prevention team uses machine learning, real time monitoring, and data analysis to build robust controls and detection capabilities. The role involves end to end ownership of projects to prevent scams and secure customer money, with about 80 percent backend and 20 percent frontend work. Qualifications include professional experience with Java or JVM based languages (Spring), building scalable web applications, experience with React based frontend, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems, and data modeling. A strong product mindset, data driven decision making, and excellent collaboration with Product, Data Science, and Investigations are required.
