Overview ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to lead DSP subsystem bring-up and real-time audio pipeline development for the Mediatek C-X1 infotainment platform. This role focuses on audio codec integration, real-time performance, and safety subsystem integration, collaborating with DSP firmware, tools, and safety teams.

Responsibilities - Lead bring-up and integration of the DSP subsystem and safety processor on the infotainment development kit - Own real-time audio pipeline development, including codec integration, audio HAL, and latency characterization - Integrate and validate safety subsystem features (lockstep cores, safety monitors, FTTI analysis) - Serve as primary technical interface with DSP firmware, tools, and support - Validate real-time performance and audio quality against acceptance criteria - Document DSP and audio subsystem bring-up state for program gate reviews

Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field - 5+ years of embedded software experience; 5+ years focused on TI DSP platforms (C7xxx, C66x, or equivalent) - Strong RTOS expertise: TI SYS/BIOS, FreeRTOS, or equivalent - Audio subsystem bring-up experience: ALSA, audio HAL, codec integration (I2S, SoundWire) - Safety subsystem experience: lockstep, self-test libraries, FTTI modeling - C/C++ (bare-metal and RTOS), TI Code Composer Studio toolchain - Hardware debug
