NAC is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join the delivery team to design, build, and optimize data solutions on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric. You will develop scalable data pipelines, implement ETL/ELT processes, and support analytics, reporting, and digital transformation across the firm. The role involves ingesting data from various sources, automating data loads, and tuning data models and datasets to ensure reliable, high-quality results with minimal manual intervention.

Key responsibilities include: - Data pipeline development and integration using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and related services - ETL/ELT processes for reporting, analytics, and ML - Ingestion patterns for sources such as business applications, APIs, databases, and file feeds - Scheduling, orchestration, automation, error handling - Microsoft Fabric solutions: dataflows, lakehouses, data warehouses, real-time analytics - Organizing data in OneLake with layered raw/enriched/curated data - Developing curated datasets and semantic models supporting Power BI - Monitoring capacity, refresh schedules, and performance; tuning as data volumes grow - Data modeling, optimization for performance, cost efficiency; dimensional modeling - Writing and tuning SQL and Python or PySpark for transformations - Data quality, security, governance aligned with policy and regulations - Access controls, lineage, and collaboration with data governance teams - Collaboration
