Everlane is seeking a freelance Copywriter to support day-to-day copy across performance marketing, email, product copy, naming, and promotions. This hands-on role provides ownership of copy customers see across channels and reports to the Editorial Director. The ideal candidate is sharp, versatile, and self-sufficient, able to learn an established brand voice quickly and manage a high volume of assignments in a fast-paced environment. This contract position offers up to 20 hours per week and is based in Los Angeles, with a hybrid schedule and at least three days in the office per week (Tuesdays through Thursdays) at our Los Angeles Creative Studio in the Arts District. Responsibilities include writing conversion-focused copy for Meta, Google, TikTok, and Pinterest; creating outbound and email marketing copy; developing subject lines and preheaders; producing promotional copy for email, site, paid media, and other channels; writing PDP copy, product naming, one-liners, and descriptions; developing multiple copy options and variations; and adapting copy based on feedback and updates. Qualifications include strong copywriting skills with grammar, tone, and clarity; experience with conversion-focused performance marketing copy and email marketing (subject lines and preheaders); PDP writing and product naming; and experience writing for fashion, apparel, or lifestyle brands is a plus.
