This role involves leading a team, managing property performance, and coordinating activities across operations, budgeting, safety, marketing, human resources, leasing, and resident relations. Responsibilities include conducting weekly on-site inspections of buildings and grounds, maintaining safety programs and records, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing policies, and coordinating with the Regional Property Manager on housing violations and move-in/move-out decisions. The Community Manager will supervise on-site personnel (directly or indirectly), provide leadership and coaching, manage training and performance reviews, and assist with employee development and terminations as needed. Marketing and resident relations duties include maintaining market-ready vacant units, supervising outreach, reviewing marketing materials and pricing, encouraging resident referrals, and addressing complaints with a focus on customer service. Accounting duties cover purchasing, vendor management, invoicing, cash handling, and ensuring proper documentation.
