AECOM is seeking an experienced Building Engineering Manager focused on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection to lead and grow our building engineering practice in Boston. This leadership role will build a high-performing, multidisciplinary team, shape strategy, and deliver projects for high-profile clients including airports, research facilities, higher education institutions, and municipal/state/federal agencies. Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Lead and grow the Boston building engineering practice, balancing technical excellence, client service, and business performance.
Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand local MEP capabilities and integrate with multi-discipline teams.
Drive major project pursuits and serve as design manager on complex projects.
Mentor engineers, oversee forecasting and resource planning, and lead performance reviews.
Represent the firm to clients, participate in interviews, and help craft winning proposals.
Provide technical vision for mechanical engineering across the Boston practice.
Ensure quality, coordination, and adherence to standards across projects.
Minimum 8 years of mechanical engineering experience on multi-disciplinary projects.
PE license in Mechanical Engineering; ability to obtain licensure in additional U.S. states.
Preferred: 10+ years, including leadership experience; strong
