Overview We are seeking a Test Engineer to plan and execute Combat and Weapons Systems and Non-Propulsion Electronics Systems tests for submarine programs, collaborating with D278 Electronics Technicians in the shop, COATS facility CCSMs, and shipboard environments across all submarine classes.

Responsibilities - Qualify and perform duties as a Shift Test Director in accordance with NAVSEA . - Conduct thorough job hazard analyses to ensure personnel and equipment safety. - Maintain proper safety and re-entry control procedures. - Certify prerequisites before test execution. - Evaluate recorded data for conformance to test procedures and specifications. - Perform post-test reviews for completeness and accuracy. - Ensure effective shift turnover to maximize cross-shift continuity. - Document, publish, and troubleshoot test hold-ups and non-conformances. - Coordinate with trade personnel, ship management, engineering, and government personnel.

Qualifications Required: - High School diploma or equivalent. - Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. - Minimum of two years of experience with shipboard construction, testing, and/or operation/familiarity with combat and weapons systems.
