Plant Controller

Position overview: The Plant Controller serves as the financial partner to the Plant Manager and facility leadership, owning plant-level financial performance and managing all accounting functions for the facility, including accounts payable, customer invoicing, supplier settlements, accounts receivable, and month-end close.

Key responsibilities: - Monitor and analyze key metrics such as gross margin, cost per unit, throughput, yield, labor efficiency, and purchasing performance; identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability. - Develop and distribute weekly and monthly KPI reporting; collaborate with Plant Manager and department leaders on operational decisions and their financial impact. - Budget and cost control: manage fixed asset records, track equipment and capital assets, monitor budget-to-actual performance, review purchasing activity, and support forecasting and budgeting. - Accounting operations: own accounts payable, invoicing, supplier settlements, and AR; maintain reconciliations and supporting documentation; assist with month-end close and financial statement preparation; ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls. - Plant leadership: act as the primary financial liaison between the facility and Corporate Controller; translate operational performance into clear financial information for non-financial leaders; support continuous improvement initiatives and ERP implementation; apply lean 5S in daily practice.
