Senior Data Engineer - Data Platform
For our client in Bern, we are seeking a motivated and open-minded Senior Data Engineer - Data Platform.
In this role you will design and implement modern data solutions in the financing domain and ensuring that complex data from multiple sources is transformed into high-quality, usable data products.
Responsibilities
- Design and build data delivery pipelines for reporting on financing products and associated collateralizations
- Model data source products and derive refined data products within a heterogeneous system landscape
- Design and implement data transformation pipelines using dbt, Airflow, and, where appropriate, SQL and Python
- Ensure data quality, traceability, and scalability of data pipelines
- Collaborate with business units (e.g., Risk, Finance, Reporting) to translate requirements into technical solutions
