Position: Staff Accountant – Honolulu, Hawaii, United States (office-based). The Staff Accountant will perform daily, monthly, and annual accounting and reporting for real estate properties, and will support the accounts payable process, including processing invoices, vendor communications, and monitoring AP-related systems. Key responsibilities include preparing general ledger reconciliations and journal entries, producing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and assisting with month-end closings and budgeting. Additional duties involve reviewing actuals versus budget, preparing bank reconciliations, supporting annual audits or reviews, and ensuring compliance with company policies and tax requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with Excel and MS Office. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 3–5 years of accounts payable experience are preferred.
