Vinted is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join the Impact Platform team. You will build and operate the backend tooling that powers feature flags and experimentation across Vinted’s applications, enabling product and platform teams to roll out changes safely at scale.

Responsibilities

About you:

Build a world-class feature flag and experiment configuration platform (Impact) used by software engineers, product managers, and data scientists.
Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput applications, microservices, and APIs for self-service flag management, experiment targeting, and variant distribution.
Automate flag creation, targeting rules, traffic allocation, rollout scheduling, and lifecycle management.
Work with Go or Ruby applications on a high-availability platform powering millions of evaluations per second.
Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to core platform services, sidecars, and developer tooling.
Monitor performance, latency, and reliability with Kibana, Grafana, Datadog, and Prometheus; drive architectural improvements.
Collaborate with Product Engineering and Data Science teams to provide robust integrations and APIs for downstream analytics.
Strong backend/data platform engineering skills with experience at scale.
Proficiency in Go and/or Ruby; comfortable in cloud and containerized environments.
Familiarity with agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and platform reliability.
Pragmatic problem-solver with a results-oriented mindset.
