Role overview We are seeking a Software Architect to guard the simplicity and maintainability of our core platform. You will own the data model durability, guide API design across partner integrations and AI-enabled workflows, and lead architectural migrations planned over the next 12–24 months. You will mentor senior ICs and engage directly with enterprise customers during onsite discussions with districts.

Role overview We are seeking a Software Architect to guard the simplicity and maintainability of our core platform. You will own the data model durability, guide API design across partner integrations and AI-enabled workflows, and lead architectural migrations planned over the next 12–24 months. You will mentor senior ICs and engage directly with enterprise customers during onsite discussions with districts.
What you’ll do - Own the durability of our core platform data model and decide when to add structure versus keep things flexible. - Own API design across partner integrations, programmatic workflow APIs, and authentication for partners and AI agents. - Lead architectural reviews and the major migrations expected in the next 12–24 months. - Mentor senior ICs without becoming a bottleneck. - Own the patterns, tests, and tooling that make our AI-assisted engineering loop reliable. - Talk to enterprise customers in person, not just through PMs, including real-time onsite discussions with districts. - Bring a sharp point of view on AI and help navigate the changes every software company will face.
