Commerce Accountant is responsible for technical and administrative accounting to maintain fiscal records and systems. You will report to the Accounting Manager. This on-site position is located in Durant, Oklahoma, United States, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay range: $50,750 - $68,000 annually.

Primary responsibilities: - Perform general ledger accounting, maintain accounting records, and prepare monthly financial statements. - Monitor accounts receivable collections from individuals and institutions; reconcile accounts, revenues and fees. - Perform accounts payable tasks such as verifying invoices for payment and ensuring expenditures are charged to the appropriate accounts. - Prepare schedules and invoices, provide explanations of supporting materials and procedures, and prepare data for external auditors. - File appropriate forms and reports with federal, state, or local agencies. - Maintain records of financial transactions with supporting documents. - Reconcile general ledger accounts to their related subsidiary ledgers and adjust the general ledger accordingly. - May help prepare monthly financial statements. - Perform other tasks as assigned.
