Construction Project Manager – Trenton, Michigan, United States (On-site). The Construction Project Manager will apply knowledge, tools and techniques to manage the scope, schedule, cost and quality of project activities to meet client and company expectations across assigned projects.
Key responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of an assigned project, including monitoring drawings, reviewing bids, handling contracts, managing change orders, and project planning and scheduling. - Coordinate with project owners, subcontractors, and architectural and engineering firms. - Deliver high levels of customer service to internal and external customers. - Control project costs and manage collections. - Manage subcontractors and resolve scheduling and contractual issues. - If assigned, directly supervise a Team Assistant. - Coordinate field repairs with internal departments and customers as required. - Attend project site meetings as required.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business. - Minimum four years of experience in the construction industry. - Strong leadership, organizational and decision-making skills; ability to work effectively in a team. - Customer service focused with excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook; able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. - Experience with problem solving and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
