Responsibilities
Required qualifications:
- Develop secure, high-quality production code and review code written by others.
- Drive the SDLC with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment concepts; promote AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes while upholding secure coding standards.
- Identify opportunities to automate remediation and enhance operational stability of software applications and systems.
- Lead design and evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess architectures and applicability.
- Lead communities of practice to promote adoption of new technologies.
- Contribute to a team culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect.
- Formal training or certification in software engineering and 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Angular, AngularJS, and React.
- Experience designing RESTful web interfaces and APIs; familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, CockroachDB, Cassandra).
