Lead Integration and Test Engineer (Starshield) SpaceX is seeking a Lead Integration and Test Engineer to lead and grow a team of engineers and specialists responsible for developing, scaling, and maintaining the manufacturing facilities and processes to build, test, integrate, and launch satellite hardware for Starshield. Responsibilities include defining processes, shaping build, test, and shipping infrastructure, and designing fixtures and production aids to produce satellites and subassemblies; support day to day hardware production and vehicle integration; ensure manufacturing is safe, secure, reliable, on time, and cost effective; challenge requirements, streamline processes, and increase production line automation as appropriate; implement continuous improvements to upgrade current production controls and minimize errors; maintain knowledge of each satellite subsystem including design, schematics, operations, manufacturing, testing, and flight; increase program manufacturing and testing capabilities and capacity; evaluate non conformances to determine root cause and drive corrective actions; identify opportunities for team growth and provide training to increase effectiveness; set clear goals and hold team members accountable for execution; own the relationship with design, supply chain, mission management, Starshield customers, and partner teams.
