Key responsibilities: - Lead the development and management of accurate budgets and financial forecasts. - Update forecasts regularly to reflect changes in business or financial performance. - Analyze budget variances and provide recommendations for resolution. - Collaborate with department heads to ensure budgets align with organizational goals. - Ensure accurate financial reporting by maintaining and analyzing data related to budget changes, expenditure tracking, and funding adjustments. - Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate reconciliation and reporting. - Communicate effectively with staff, leadership, and external partners regarding financial data, reporting, and project updates. - Analyze financial data to provide insights that support decision-making. - Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls, external regulations, and audit requirements. - Prepare and present financial reports to key stakeholders
