Origis Energy is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to serve as Director, Talent Engagement. This on-site, Austin, Texas-based role will be a trusted advisor, employee advocate, and strategic thought partner to the Managing Director of Talent & Culture and to leaders across the organization. You will shape people strategy while supporting day-to-day needs, with a focus on field-based teams and thoughtful engagement in the office and in the field as needed.

Key responsibilities include: - Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on people strategy, organizational design, workforce planning, and talent priorities. - Translating business goals into practical people plans that strengthen engagement, retention, and team effectiveness. - Administering end-to-end benefits and leave programs with regulatory compliance; serving as the senior escalation point for complex reward and accommodation inquiries. - Owning the new-hire experience, onboarding, orientation, documentation and training, and partnering with leaders to support early employee engagement. - Supporting development, implementation and maintenance of competitive compensation programs, including benchmarking and market analysis. - Owning employee relations for assigned groups, handling performance concerns, workplace conflicts, disciplinary actions, and separations; leading investigations and documenting outcomes; coordinating with legal as needed. - Coaching and equipping managers to build strong people leadership practices. - Supporting the full talent lifecycle, including onboarding, performan
