About the role

AEG is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). This senior individual contributor leads the technical execution of DevOps best practices, including automation, CI/CD pipeline development, observability, and infrastructure as code. The role partners with engineering teams, architecture, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high-impact solutions, while mentoring peers and fostering a DevOps culture focused on reliability, performance, and developer efficiency.

Key responsibilities: - Deploy microservices using Infrastructure as Code within CI/CD pipelines by scripting, testing, and backing up configurations to support scalable deployments and reliable system configurations. - Train, mentor, and assist other team members in DevOps and Platform Engineering best practices, contributing to ticket refinement, requirements definition, and the identification of effective solutions; collaborate to define measurable KPIs for DevOps Engineers. - Manage automated build processes using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, and AWS CodeBuild to enable quick, correct, and flexible deployments. - Automate, deploy, and test by leveraging webhooks and status checks from Azure, GCP, AWS CodeDeploy, AWS CodePipeline, GitHub, Jira, and Postman. - Configure automated real-time monitoring solutions including database log reviews, KPIs, and performance alerts to maintain availability and security of database systems. - Champion ChatOps workflows using Slack and pe
