Herschend is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join the Finance team for Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel in downtown Nashville. This on-site role supports accounts receivable and broader financial initiatives for a 245-room property with two F&B venues, a market, and a museum, ahead of a Q2 2026 opening. The successful candidate will be accurate, hospitality-focused, and able to partner with cross-functional teams to help position the property for a successful launch. Key responsibilities include general accounting duties, accounts receivable activities, handling customer inquiries and vendor/group billing, generating daily revenue and labor reports, GL research and re-classifications, monthly journal entries, credit meetings, and cross-department communication. The role also ensures compliance with state sales tax laws and tax-exempt reporting, supports audits and special projects, and maintains open communication with all departments. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of accounting/administrative experience (hotel front office experience preferred); college degree or formal accounting education preferred; strong written and verbal communication; proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Opera Cloud PMS and Restaurant POS systems is a plus; strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
