The Access Team Lead will embody the organization's mission and compliance standards, ensuring patient-first service and HIPAA privacy. Key responsibilities include leading the Access team to deliver exceptional customer service, scheduling and directing patients through NMHC systems, verifying demographics, coordinating pre-authorizations and referrals with insurers, and assisting patients with financial arrangements. Qualifications: minimum two years of customer service or patient relations experience; strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; ability to read and speak English; proficient computer skills and typing at least 40 wpm; preferred: Bachelor's degree, healthcare finance/insurance knowledge, experience with revenue cycle, Epic experience, knowledge of medical terminology.
